Request for edit in getting started page

I would like to replace it with something a little more noob/beginner friendly. Review http://www.webos-internals.org/wiki/Portal:_Where_to_Get_Started --Imop45 15:44, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

discussion

please don't split discussions; put replies on the same discussion page as the comment you're replying to, and in the same section. i left part of your comment as is at the bottom of Talk:Main Page, as i didn't want to butcher it too badly. please split it and move the parts to the appropriate places.

also, don't forget to sign your comments.

Mailer is broken

I registered as giacomo and the email address is valid, but your mailer returns "1" and complains. I can still log in but can't confirm. Is it a problem?

Thanks,

Giacomo

Nope, not aproblem -- we know about it, and are trying to fix it,but no confirmation is required.

G: Actually, I DID receive the confirmation emails. Just your mailer complains.

Confirmation email sent when creating webos-internals account

Kinda funny really, but I figured I report that the confirmation email sent out when someone creates a new account on this site says "Someone, probably you, from IP address 127.0.0.1,has registered an account..."

Don't know how I managed to register from a local loopback address- but it sure is funny for an IT guy like me to see it!
