Unstable

I've found both the ondemand and Voltage Scaling methods to be unstable (causing hang-ups and various other glitches). There needs to be a warning appended when these get added to the GIT repository. I recommend these not be added to Preware. -hopspitfire 20:48, 27 October 2009 (UTC)

Question

A few times here I've seen "TI has noted a significant decrease in the life of the processor when running above 500mHz". Can anyone cite this data's source? Everything I've seen on the OMAP3430 processor suggests it's usually clocked at ~600MHz but that it's possible for it to go to 800MHz or even 1GHz with the proper care, but I have yet to see anything which indicates that 600MHz speeds have an adverse affect on the processor's lifespan. -docJKL 16:43, 11 August 2010 (ET)
